" Mass Effect: Andromeda is our most ambitious Mass Effect game to date. Mass Effect: Andromeda has also been confirmed for a March 21 release date. You can check out screenshots of the new Mass Effect: Andromeda screens here. We see a new ship named Tempest run by another EDI-like entity, a familiar but new menu you can use to upgrade your two party members, new enemy types and a new combat system that doesn’t seem to rely as heavily on cover. There’s lots of breaking new info on Mass Effect: Andromeda, the follow up to the original trilogy, coming out of CES 2017. (The soundtrack’s also available on Spotify and I must say is truly excellent writing music for that sci-fi feel.) The Deluxe Edition runs an extra 10 bucks but gets you a digital comic, a soundtrack, art book and dank bonus weapons. Normally, Mass Effect 2 Standard Edition will run you $19.99, which is still worth every penny. All you’ll need in order to grab Mass Effect 2 for free is an Origin account, which does put you in bed with EA, but also provides you with Mass Effect 2 for free, so, yanno. Mass Effect 2 will be “on the house for a limited time only” on PC, according to the Mass Effect 2 Origin page.
